Vintage 1978 Parker Brothers MERLIN Handheld Electronic Game - Not Working. You are purchasing this item as-is in the picture. I am not the original owner. This seems to be in pretty good shape overall. The battery compartment was corroded with old batteries. I scraped some of it off to test it and it did not work. Someone with more knowledge can probably clean these off to see if it works or use it for parts. Please study all of my photos before purchasing. Thank you.

Merlin handheld, electronic game (1978) in original box. Almost perfect! Works great! Not a thing wrong with it! Box is very worn. Rare find in this condition from that year. 6 AA batteries required but not included. Comes as shown.
Both games are tested and work great with clean battery contacts. The only issue is that one of the 2 battery covers is broken in half as shown. The other one is undamaged but I was afraid to put it back on after breaking the first one, as they tend to be fragile. 070422
My personally owned Vintage MERLIN 1978 Parker Bros Red Handheld Electronic Game, Not Working. Just stopped working within the last 5 years. Maybe due to lack of use? It has been stored without batteries and is clean in the battery area. There is dust/dirt on exterior. Best game growing up with. It looked my own phone (before cell phones!), had a earphone jack so parents could have peace and quiet and it had multiple games! Please ask any and all questions before bidding or buying.
